With the right tools and guidance, migration represents an improvement in the service you provide to your customers and strengthens your position against the competition
Develops intelligent solutions able to reduce highway accidents by up to 70%, thereby saving lives and ensuring cargoes with total platform integration.
Seven out of every ten highway accidents are caused by distractions and bad driving habits. This technology reduces accidents and minimizes their consequences by means of intelligent cameras and reconnaissance algorithms.
This system provides assistance for safe driving by identifying events that can represent potential risks such as involuntary changing of lanes, possible collisions, and the detection of pedestrians and cyclists among others, by emitting a sound alert to the driver when they are very close.
The DMS system is an auxiliary for recognizing signs of fatigue, drowsiness, distraction and behaviors that cause accidents such as smoking, making telephone calls, and in extreme cases if the driver has fallen asleep. In all of these cases an alert is emitted to the driver so as to prevent any mishap.
The ADAS/DMS system is based on GPS or MVDR equipment and a processing unit with different accessories such as infrared (thermographic) cameras, sensors, and status monitors.
This hardware processes the algorithms which enable facial feature recognition (eyes, nose, and, mouth), facial contours, and line of sight in the case of DMS or the proximity of objects, blind spots, highway lane markings and speed limit signs in the case of ADAS.
All the alerts and events that the system detects are also sent to the Monitoring Center so that your customer will always be aware of the driving conditions, and the physical state of the driver and be able to act in order to resolve any situation that could present serious consequences.
This integration into the platform gives room to establish ever more safety measures by combining the ADAS/DMS system with alerts regarding acceleration, sudden braking, changes in the ignition, distances between assets, etc. or even initiate video streaming on the platform or from the App Tracker when necessary, and keep a record in the alert history.
Depending on the features of the hardware, the video evidence of the occurrences prior to, during, and after an event can be recorded on the MDVR or even create an automatic backup in OnTracking for which the ADAS/DMS system is totally compatible with video verification and video surveillance.
With RedGPS you can propose integral solutions. The ADAS/DMS events are integrated into OnDriving, our driver behavior module, in such a way that they form part of his rating which in turn gives your customer data and precise measurements in order to devise a safety strategy for the fleet and a custom made control panel for his business.
Also known in some countries as "Third Eye", this auxiliary system is used in mining, fuel or chemical substance transportation, fleets of freight trucks, passenger buses, and even school buses.
