Idp 782 Orbcomm

IDP-782 The IDP-782 is a cellular or dual satellite-cellular communication terminal for vehicle tracking and driver monitoring, enabling text messaging, electronic forms, and more. It is fully programmable and highly functional, offering connectivity for assets with automatic switching between cellular and satellite networks. It offers the best of both worlds: lower data transmission costs in areas with cellular coverage, and always reliable and available communications from the IsatData Pro bidirectional satellite network in remote locations. The backup battery allows for data transmission for up to 12 hours when vehicle power is not available; it is equipped with a 1-Wire interface, CANbus, accelerometer, dual SIM, and sensor ports. The device is also compatible with HSPA/GPRS networks. The IDP-782 terminal supports the development of custom applications for more complex solutions, as well as configurable software applications for simpler implementations and faster time to market.
