One of the highest forms of protection in the field of vehicle security is the AMPIRE TVM800, which operates based on GPS/GSM signal. The protection is the communication between the vehicle and a mobile phone. The vehicle can be controlled and located anywhere the GSM network is available. The vehicle owner can always find the location and speed of their vehicle. When there is a change in the vehicle's position (such as vehicle theft), the owner is immediately notified by text message, which the TVM800 sends to the mobile phone. The information about the vehicle's location is specified in the SMS message in the form of geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude). For example, after entering this geographical coordinate into the data card via the Internet or a GPS navigation system, the exact location of the vehicle is displayed on the map. When the alarm is triggered, it can also be activated by using the mobile phone to block the engine or activate an alarm/siren. The TVM800 can be used separately or combined with an installed alarm system. In such cases, the TVM800 provides additional protection for the vehicle and informs the owner via SMS about any damage inside the vehicle. The abuse of SMS control is protected by a personal four-digit PIN code. Installation in a vehicle is easy and does not require special knowledge. However, an active SIM card (also prepaid) from any wireless service provider must be used. The only requirement is that the SIM card's PIN code is enabled, meaning disabled people are not accepted to log in to a mobile network and all phone numbers and SMS on the SIM card are deleted. It comes with the integrated base unit in the body with a GSM antenna, an external GPS antenna, wiring, and instructions for use.
